Boris Wojtan

With well over 20 years of experience in private practice and at the ICO, Accenture, GSMA and BT, Boris Wojtan, has worked as a regulator, led corporate global data privacy, data ethics and AI compliance programmes and provided policy leadership for the global mobile industry on data and digital issues. An early and consistent advocate of accountability-based mechanisms as the foundation of trust in digital technologies and smart data-sharing, Boris secured of one of the very first Binding Corporate Rules approvals, promoted the adoption of smart data regulation in Africa, Asia and South America and, more recently, shaped new corporate governance processes at BT to foster trust in AI. He now practices as an independent consultant and legal adviser.
