Michelle Marcoot

Michelle Marcoot is an accomplished business strategist with over two decades of experience in leadership roles across various industries. Since 2011, she has served as the Director of Finance, Operations and Business Development at CIPL in our Washington D.C office. Michelle leads the implementation of CIPL’s strategic growth and annual operating plan, manages key stakeholder relationships, and oversees financial operations and strategic growth initiatives.

Previously, she was Senior Director of Membership and Programs at the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, where she led the strategic direction and management of the membership and program departments of the 100,000+ member non-profit organization. At the Grocery Manufacturers Association, she managed large-scale projects including conferences, joint industry projects, case studies, educational programs, surveys, and research reports related to supply chain logistics, electronic commerce initiatives, and emerging technology applications. Michelle has also served as a Senior Director Member Services Corporate Executive Board, (now Gartner) where she managed a $15 million portfolio and cultivated corporate accounts for Fortune 500 companies. During her 7-year tenure, she received numerous awards and recognitions, including Outstanding Performance in Member Services in the Strategy, Innovation & Management Practice, the President’s Circle Award, and the Annual Firm Builder Award.

With expertise in account management, strategic growth, business development, and client relations, Michelle is recognized for her ability to drive operational success, deliver value to CIPL members and implement strategic objectives and business plans.
