Daniela Fábián Masoch has over 22 years professional expertise, commercial legal experience, leadership and management experience of global projects and teams. In the last 18 years, she held various positions in Legal at Novartis.
Currently she holds the position as Chief Privacy Officer, responsible for setting the Group’s strategic direction regarding privacy and data protection compliance and driving the implementation and oversight to the group wide privacy compliance program.
Prior to assuming this position, Daniela was Senior Corporate Counsel in the Corporate Legal Department at Novartis, responsible for supporting global functions in a broad variety of legal matters.
Daniela is an attorney at law and privacy professional (CIPP/E) with special expertise in data protection & privacy as well as employment, environment and contract law. She is a board member of the International Pharmaceutical Privacy Consortium (IPPC) and served as the Chair of the IPPC EU Working Group in 2013/2014. She is also a member of the European Privacy Officers Network (EPON), the Internatioanl Associacion for Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as well as the Swiss Data Protection Officers Consortium (VUD).
