Verena Kontschieder is a leader of society- and people-centric projects focused on rethinking, crafting, piloting, and scaling new approaches to technologies, policies, programs, and strategies.
 
Verena has expertise in Innovation in Policy and Product, Governance, (Public) Value, (Responsible) AI and ML, Open and Strategy Innovation, Social Impact, Data and Privacy Policy. At Meta, she launched, piloted, analyzed, and scaled ‘Open Loop’, a globally established program in international experimental governance created to prototype both AI product and regulatory innovation with pertinent and high level actors (tech startups and incumbents, politicians, scholars, civil society) through regionally adapted approaches (e.g., value governance, social impact, ethical AI). She is currently completing her doctoral research in value from agile and design methods in emerging tech and inclusive governance at London’s Royal College of Art. She also loves the performing arts.
